I attended an afternoon wedding at Crystal Sweet in Manchester, and overall, it was a really good experience. The hall was lovely, with a spacious and impressive entrance, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The food was great, and the service throughout the event was excellent. However, unfortunately, things didn’t end on the best note. Towards the end of the event, there was an issue involving my family and the leftover food, which was not handled in the best manner. I personally felt that this was unnecessary and didn’t reflect the otherwise excellent experience we had throughout the day. I would also like to sincerely apologise to the manager and kitchen staff if our actions caused any inconvenience or discomfort. That was certainly not our intention, and we appreciate their patience and professionalism. Apart from this incident, we genuinely enjoyed the venue, food and service. I would definitely recommend Crystal Sweet to anyone looking for a nice wedding venue in Manchester. What a wonderful evening we had on Friday evening, 11th September 2026 celebrating our Church’s 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Crystal Suite Longsight! Firstly, the venue is absolutely beautiful and was a perfect setting for such a special milestone. From the very beginning, the Manager, Hassan, was very accommodating, flexible and understanding with all our requirements and requests. He also assured us that our guests would not be disappointed on the night and he wasn't wrong! He obviously knew he could deliver and could deliver well ! Days before the event we made changes and again our requests were granted with ease. The food was absolutely superb, plentiful and full of flavour. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed it! The drinks were also of very good quality and the staff worked incredibly hard throughout the evening, making sure that food was always on the tables and drinks were always flowing. I really have to commend the Event Manager, who was absolutely on point throughout the evening. Everything was handled so professionally and efficiently, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special celebration knowing we were in good hands. A very special thank you also goes to Waqar, also the Manager, who looked after us whilst setting up and throughout the evening.  Nothing was too much trouble and even our very last-minute requests (and there were quite a few!) were happily accommodated, within minutes, which we really appreciated. Thank you very much Waqar. And of course, a special mention to the lovely lady who cut our anniversary cake for us 😊🎂 — thank you to you and the team for doing such an excellent job and helping to make the evening even more special! We truly appreciated the effort that the whole Crystal Suite team put into making our evening a success. Their professionalism, attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Celebrating 60 years of our church was a very special occasion for us, and we wanted everything to be just right. Crystal Suite Longsight certainly helped us achieve that. If you are looking for a special venue for a special occasion, in fact a venue for any occasion.....Crystal Suite, Manchester is a must because you won't be disappointed.
